A Sèvres Bleu Nouveau Coffee Can and Saucer, Dated 1786

gobelet 'litron' et soucoupe, of the third size, painted with gilt-edged cartouches of garden scenes, the can with a dog resting within a rose garden at the base of a pedestal, the saucer with a small bridge over a river leading to a large urn of flowers, the rims with a band of chased-gilt-floral rinceau, interlaced LL marks in blue flanked by date letters jj for 1786 and painter's mark y for Mme Genévieve-Louise Bouillat (née Thévenet)
