oil and collage on canvas

Canvas: 90 by 110.5cm, 35½ by 43½in.

Framed: 106 by 126.5cm, 41¾ by 49¾in.

Original canvas. There are tiny holes to both top corners. There are isolated areas of craquelure, most notably to the top right corner and to the lower left quadrant. A small fleck of paint loss is visible at the top edge approximately 35cm from the right edge. There is a further area of paint loss to the blue to the centre of the left edge. Minor abrasions are visible to the edges elsewhere. The surface is covered in a light layer of dirt. Inspection under UV light reveals no obvious signs of retouching. Framed.
