Left part: The left part has been executed on two separate sheets of masonite which have been mounted on a wooden stretcher. The surface is covered in a layer of dirt. Unframed.

Right part: The right part has been executed on two separate sheets of masonite which have been mounted on a wooden stretcher. The paint surface has cracked in places along the joint. The lower right corner of the masonite is fraying with some associated losses to the paint layer and there is a further minor paint loss to the lower left corner. There are further minor nicks and losses along the top and lower right edges. The white enamel paint has yellowed in time and there is minor paint shrinkage in places.
