An inscribed wucai tea caddy, Qing dynasty, Shunzhi/ Kangxi period 清順治至康熙 五彩花卉詩文茶罐
An inscribed wucai tea caddy,
Qing dynasty, Shunzhi/ Kangxi period
inscribed with a poem which can be translated as,
Clouds float by, where the verdant cliffs meets the sky.
Build a reed hut, with not a penny spent.
Draw water straight from the bucket, and simmer it for tea.
And wake up to plum blossoms before my bed.
In very good condition, with only a minute glaze flake to the rim.
