oval, two compartments with central divider, basket-weave bodies with ropework handles, undersides crested and inscribed 6-32..5, gilt interiors

9cm., 3½in. wide 

323gr., 10oz. 8dwt.

The crest is that of Touchet, probably for James Touchet, 7th Earl of Castlehaven (15 April 1723 - 6 May 1769), who succeeded to the title upon the death of his father, also James Touchet on 12 October 1740. He died unmarried and was succeeded by his brother, John (2 August 1724 - 22 April 1777) who also died unmarried when the earldom of Castlehaven became extinct.
