A French gilt-metal and cut amethyst glass centerpiece by Christofle & Cie, circa 1880
oval, formed as intertwined branches enclosing a fluted glass bowl, sides applied with clusters of fruits and leaves, the ends with fully-modelled sitting cherubs, one holding a bird, gilt-metal marked CHRISTOFLE, numbered 698407
