patinated and silvered bronze, marble

engraved GUIRAUD. RIVIÈRE

19 ⅝ x 21 x 5 in. (49.8 x 53.3 x 12.7 cm)

Overall in very good condition. The silvered bronze figure presents with light surface soiling, scattered surface scratches and instances of oxidation concentrated particularly to the base and recessed areas of the design as consistent with age. The dynamic figure moves slightly at the point where the body meets the abstract clouds element but is stable in place. The marble base presents with very minor surface scratches and light soiling with a protective felt pad applied to the underside.
