8 ⅝ in. (21.8 cm) diameter of shade

Overall in very good condition. The adjustable rotating mechanism is fully functional and undisturbed. The brass surfaces present with light scratches and light oxidation throughout consistent with age and gentle use. The painted metal with scuffing as well as occasional flecks and small losses to the black paint concentrated to the uppermost circular element, consistent with use. The shade with signs of age throughout, light surface scratches, occasional and very small lifting to the paper and scattered minute dark stains. The top and bottom elements of the shade are very minimally misaligned with each other, only visible upon close inspection. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
