Overall in very good condition. Comprising a variety of forms and objects, Hella Jongerius’ “B-Service” is a masterful and conceptual collection of some of the artist’s most recognizable techniques and motifs. The porcelain presents with some very minor irregularities to the surface inherent to production and the artist’s vision. Some of the porcelain bowls, cups and plates include woven fabric threads, the ends of which are occasionally slightly loose. Please note that, due to the weight disparity between the bronze and the porcelain surfaces, the two pitchers cannot stand upright. One of the two pitchers’ handles is missing a plastic fastener, resulting in some looseness. The gilt bronze surfaces with some very minor irregularities to the casting and gilding inherent to production.
