Piero Fornasetti, "Strumenti Musicali" Boomerang Chair
"Strumenti Musicali" Boomerang Chair
with the firm's paper label
lithographic transfer-print on lacquered wood
33 3/4 x 16 5/8 x 20 3/4 in. (85.7 x 42.2 x 52.7 cm)
Overall in good condition. The lacquered wood presents with scattered surface scratches, crackling and light soiling throughout as consistent with age and gentle use. The wood presents with more pronounced abrasions and losses to the lacquer concentrated to the edges of the seat and seat back as visible in the catalogue photography. The lithographic instrument prints on the seats and seat backs are well-preserved and retain their precise detail.
