mahogany, rosewood, maple and ash burl marquetry, patinated bronze

17 3/4 in. (45.1 cm) diameter

Overall in very good condition. The mahogany presents with scattered surface scratches, minute abrasions, indentations and small nicks particularly concentrated to the edges and legs as consistent with gentle use. The underside of the tabletop presents with a few separations to the wood grain, stable. The mahogany presents with occasional areas of sensitive restoration and inpainting, not visually distracting. The marquetry is in well-preserved condition with occasional crackling to the surface consistent with age. The tabletop presents with three fine hairline cracks near the petals of one flower, stable. The tabletop with light surface soiling concentrated to the edges. The bronze mounts are in very well-preserved condition with light wear, traces of oxidation and surface soiling concentrated to the recessed areas of the design and consistent with age. One flower bud is detached but present and can be stabilized at the buyer’s discretion.
