Overall in excellent condition. The wood presents with scattered surface irregularities and discolorations inherent in the grain and characteristic of the artist’s wood-turning practice. The wood presents with very faint scattered scratches and a few small abrasions concentrated to the edges, consistent with gentle handling and not visually distracting. The lower “Saturn” ring presents with a faint white mark, not visually distracting. The lower half of the bowl and interior present with a few minor surface irregularities that were filled in at some point in the history of the piece, not visually distracting. The interior with light surface soiling.
