Condition: The canvas appears original. It is stretched and unlined. The surface of the canvas is textured with thick brushwork. On close inspection, there are light paint cracks in places across the work - these cracks appear stable. There are stretcher marks visible towards the extreme edges of the work. The canvas exhibits minor fraying in the lower left-hand corner. Overall, the work is in good and stable condition. Inspection under UV light reveals no clear signs of restoration or repair.
