Matador and Bull

signed with the artist's initials and dated '72

oil, crayon and paper collage on paper

14 by 16 1/2 in. 35.6 by 41.9 cm.

framed: 22 3/4 by 25 in. 57.8 by 63.5 cm.

This work is in very good condition overall. The left edge of the sheet is unevenly cut and there is a very slight undulation to the sheet. The collaged elements appear stable and intact. There are artist’s pinholes to the upper corners. There is very minor evidence of handling and wear to the edges, including a light crease to the upper right corner as well as a few light creases visible at the lower left and right corners. There are a few very light and nearly imperceptible areas of soiling in the sheet. Adhesive residue is visible throughout which is inherent to the artist’s chosen medium and working method. The sheet is hinged verso to the mat at the corners. Framed under Plexiglas.
