This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of handling and wear to the edges, including a few scattered pinpoint pigment losses at the extreme edges. Under very close inspection and raking light, there are fine networks of craquelure visible throughout the composition, most notably in running horizontally across the red pigment on the upper register. Further close inspection reveals radial craquelure, possibly as the result of an impact, running along the central vertical axis 2 inches from the top edge. There areas of white pigment are lightly soiled. Ultraviolet light inspection reveals scattered concentrations of pigment which fluoresce darkly, most concentrated at the upper left and right corners, which appear to have benefited from retouching. Framed.
