Diamond Dust Oxidation Painting

stamped with the Estate of Andy Warhol stamp and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts stamp on the reverse; numbered PA45.134 on the reverse; numbered PA45.134 twice on the stretcher

urine, metallic pigment and acrylic with diamond dust on canvas

40 by 30 in. 101.6 by 76.2 cm

Executed in 1978.

This work is in very good condition overall. Under close inspection, there are a few areas visible at the extreme edges where the diamond dust has not adhered, which are likely from the time of execution. Further close inspection of the surface reveals a few areas where the diamond dust has deposited in a thicker layer, which are also likely from the time of execution. Under ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
