Condition:

This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals some minute media accretions in isolated places, a few compressed impasto peaks with an associated minute loss to an impasto peak towards the centre of the right edge and a few networks of drying cracks in isolated places. Further very close inspection reveals some light discolouration to the superficial layer of varnish, which is in keeping with the natural ageing process of the artist's choice of media. Close inspection reveals a superficial layer of dust that has settled in the crevices of the impasto peaks. There is some light canvas draw to all four corners with some associated canvas undulation towards the vertical edges. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
