20 Minutes from Any Bus Stop

acrylic, end papers and Xerox collage on canvas

72 by 84 in. 182.9 by 213.4

Executed in 2002.

This work is in very good condition overall. Due to the collaged nature of the work, some collaged elements are slightly raised from the surface. These all appear stable and in keeping with the artist's intent. There is evidence of minor wear and handling to the edges and some of the paper is slightly lifting along the edges, most noticeably along the right and top edges. Under close inspection, there is also evidence of hairline cracking in the painted surface along the edges. In certain areas, the artist’s chosen adhesive appears to have darkened over time, also inherent to the artist’s working method and consistent with his chosen medium. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed.
