"The work Conversation epitomizes the idea of a dialogue with oneself using two identical self-portraits mounted on a sliced tire facing each other as if in a conversation. The artist has recorded a reading of an extract from J Krishnamurti’s A Dialogue with oneself’ in his voice. This audio recording is converted into a visual audio waveform that informs the central element of the sculpture."
