Constitution of the State of West Texas (caption title). [Austin, 1868]
8vo (203 x 136 mm). Center of bottom margin chewed or nicked, progressively increasing in size and costing text on pp. 25–[36], upper right corner of first page dust-soiled, dampstaining throughtout. This constitution was part of a proposal to divide the state of Texas. "The work is a fully developed constitution for the proposed new commonwealth, carefully defining the boundaries of the state of West Texas.
