The work has been examined framed. The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals spots of retouching along the extreme edges and to the corners, a small dot of retouching to the left of the clock tower of the church and a small line of retouching to the extreme trees towards the left edge.There is a tiny paint loss (approx. 1mm wide) below the grey cloud in the sky. There are lines of craquelure in places, notably towards the centre of the right part of the composition. This work is in overall very good condition.
