gelatin silver print, mounted, with credit and annotation 'print exchange c. 1947-50' in pencil on the reverse, 1948, printed circa 1950

image: 3 ½ by 4 ½ in. (8.9 by 11.4 cm.)

Please note the colors and shades in the online catalogue illustration may vary depending on screen settings. This early print is in generally excellent condition. Upon very close examination in high raking light is a small L-shaped scratch that does not break the emulsion in the lower right quadrant. This photograph is mounted to card measuring 5.25 by 8 inches. Near the mount's upper edge are a tiny rust-colored spot (possibly foxing) and a small yellowed fingerprint. The graphite notations on the reverse are smudged. When examined under ultraviolet light, this print may fluoresce ever-so-slightly.
