A Gongxuan kiln amber-glazed moulded tripod brazier Song - Yuan dynasty | 宋至元 鞏縣窰黃釉深剔花風爐

Braziers of this form are rare, but the amber glaze, moulding technique and style of the present lot is reminiscent of those excavated from the Qingliangshi kiln, Baofeng, Henan. See Ceramic Finds from Henan, University of Hong Kong, 1997, pls 44-48.
