FIRST EDITION of Karel Čapek's utopian science fiction novel, translated into English as An Atomic Fantasy, about the invention of an explosive substance named krakatite, after the volcano Krakatoa. Both Karel and Josef Čapek produced many works for the influential Aventinum publishing house in Prague.
