Audemars Piguet has been a manufacturer known to adopt the use of bold rare metals. The present watch is cased in an unusual grey metal, tantalum which has a very high resistance to corrosion. Tantalum is not solderable, making it extremely difficult to work with but also a true testament of Audemars Piguet's watchmaking skill. Fitted with an elegant salmon dial, the bezel and bracelet has a furthermore pink gold touch with gives the watch a very charismatic appeal.
