Colours strong, examined under U.V. light, without any obvious areas of retouching except for possibly to lower left-hand corner, in fur, areas of slightly darker paint between name: 'SOLIMANUS', very slight remnant of adhesive(>) to top right-hand corner, in turban, reverse of copper plaque with oxidisation and associated discoloration, set in a wooden frame with nicks and ware throughout, two cracks to top right and lower left-hand edges of frame, as viewed.
