Two silk-appliqués 'Eight Immortals' scrolls
Qing dynasty, 19th century
each decorated with four of the Eight Immortals and hovering bats in silk appliqués reserved on an orange-red ground detailed with clouds, each with three-character auspicious maxims on top and bottom supporting success and encouraging filial respect
