Qing dynasty, 19th century

the table screen carved with a literati episode depicting a scholar and an attendant on the terrace of a pavilion set beneath overhanging pines and prunus, the reverse with a bird on a prunus branch; the snuff bottle similarly decorated on each side with scholars and attendants

20 x 10.6 cm and 9.5 cm; 7⅞by 4⅛ in. and 3¾ in.
