The work has been examined framed. The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals a few small spots of retouching towards the centre of the lower edge and an additionnal small spot of retouching to the right part of the lower edge. Some yellow pigment appears to fluoresce under UV light, which does not appear to be related to retouching. There are a few minor stable lines of craquelure in places. This work is in overall very good condition.
