A large fahua-glazed 'immortals' jar

Ming dynasty, 16th century

decorated with Shoulao and his companion deer greeted by the Eight Immortals carrying their respective attributes, between pendant ruyi cartcouhes, each enclosing one of the bajixiang collaring the rim and a band of lotus lappets encircling the foot, hongmu stand
