A Jian 'hare's-fur' bowl and a 'Jizhou' 'papercut' bowl 

Song dynasty

each with deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot, one covered with a lustrous black glaze with russet 'hare's fur', the other resist decorated to the interior with three quatrefoil medallions against a blueish black streaked ground and covered in a dark glaze to the exterior irregularly splashed with amber-coloured spots in imitation of tortoiseshell
