4 parts in 2 volumes, 18mo (151 x 89mm.), half-titles, frontispiece and 9 engraved plates, each in two states (preliminary etched and before letters), contemporary straight-grained citron morocco gilt by Simier, spines gilt in compartments with black morocco lettering-pieces, gilt edges, first volume possibly lacking last 2 leaves (containing table of chapters for part 2), occasional light spotting


One of 100 copies printed in "format grand in-18".
