4to (230 x 150mm.), woodcut Estienne device on title-page, woodcut initials and headpieces, parallel text in Greek and Latin, with blank leaf Q4, CONTEMPORARY MOROCCO ELABORATELY GILT WITH THE ARMS OF THE DUC DE GUISE [Olivier 50], flat spine similarly gilt, stubs of two pairs of blue silk ties, gilt edges
The arms are those of Louis-Henri de Lorraine (1550-1588), and the lettering "Dux Guisius | Hoc te munere donat" indicates that this is a prize binding.
