4to (209 x 153mm.), woodcut armorial on title-page, woodcut initials, without final blank leaf, eighteenth-century Spanish mottled calf elaborately gilt in period style, red speckled edges, title-page repaired at head, binding slightly rubbed, spine repaired at foot

The author was professor of law and letters at Salamanca; in this work he attempted to categorise mechanical and liberal arts.
