8vo (148 x 92mm.), title printed in red and black, woodcut initials, ruled in red, yellow initial strokes, contemporary stamped calf, manuscript fragments in binding, lacking p5, x4-5 and Aa3-6, calf slightly defective, spine repaired, lacking two pairs of ties
This was issued with the name of different Parisian booksellers on the title-page; we have not traced another copy naming le Bret. The translator was René Berthault de la Grise.
