4 parts in 2 volumes, 4to (183 x 113mm.), title printed in red and black, woodcut printer's device on title-pages, blank leaf at end of first two parts, woodcut initials and tailpieces, contemporary blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards with portraits of Luther and Melanchthon on covers and lettered CONCILII TRIDENTINI EXAMEN ANNO 1593 on covers, gilt and gauffered edges, two clasps, upper hinge of volume 1 repaired
