The canvas is wax-lined. There is minor frame abrasion along the extreme edges and there is scattered surface cracking throughout. The work appears to be slightly dirty. Under UV: there are a few scattered small spots of inpainting in the mountains and sky, and next to the central figure's proper right shoulder. There is inpainting to address frame abrasion. Select areas of the white pigments fluoresce but appear to be the artist's original work.
