There is frame abrasion along the edges and the work appears to be dirty. The corners have been cut and rounded by the artist. Under UV: There is no apparent inpainting.

The present lot is sold in the frame originally gifted to the artist by her friends Mr. and Mrs. Herrington from Eagle Bridge. After receiving the frame, Grandma Moses painted Going to Church which she then gifted to the Herrington’s.
