Overall in very good condition. The wood surfaces present with light surface scratches, minor abrasions and small indentations concentrated to the edges and legs as consistent with gentle use. The backsides of the nightstands present with fine hairline cracks, the longest measuring approximately 3 in. and all stable. The gold painted edges present with inconsistency of application that reveals the underlying red primer, not detracting from the design. Each nightstand features two drawers and a pull-out extension leaf that present with surface soiling and faint ring stains. The glass tabletops present with scattered small losses to the silvering throughout consistent with age, as well as light soiling, surface scratches and minute abrasions consistent with gentle use. The gilt bronze mounts present with very light oxidation consistent with age. Three bronze mounts present with some minor looseness but are stable in place.
