A Wedgwood Fairyland lustreware vase

Circa 1925


designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones, with the 'Pillar' pattern, of baluster form, decorated with vertical panels of descending staircases on stilts and birds and foliage before towers and minarets, divided by bands of flowers and scrolling leaves between bands of masks, scale-pattern and imps and bubbles, the interior fim with further imps and leaves , lustred to the interior, printed Portland vase mark, incised shape number 3451, pattern number Z4968 above 7 or Y
