A silver-gilt and cloisonné enamel icon of Christ Pantocrator, Ovchinnikov, Moscow, circa 1890
Christ depicted half-length with one raised hand and a book in the other, the raised border enamelled with flower motifs and St George's cross in each corner, the raised halo enamelled with geometric design, with a suspension loop, struck to the lower edge with maker's mark in Cyrillic and the Imperial Warrant, also struck to the loop, 84 standard
