Portrait of John, 2nd Earl Tylney of Castlemaine (1712-1784)

Pen and black ink;

inscribed lower centre: Earl Tylney

422 by 300 mm

The medium is well preserved. The paper has discoloured a little and there is evidence of some minor surface dirt. The lower edge of the sheet would appear to have been cut, as the bottom letter y is missing. The sheet is not laid down and the overall impression of this work is very good.
