This instantly recognisable Royal Oak Chronograph brings the notion of exclusivity and comfort to an entire new level. Part of a limited edition of 300 pieces launched to celebrate the Be Happy sailing team in the 2000 edition of the Auckland race, this singular model of the legendary chronograph is crafted from titanium. The lightness of the case and bracelet ensemble confer the watch with a unique feel on the wrist. The manufacturing tour-de-force in 2000 was tremendous, as titanium is particularly difficult to work with, even more so in context of the Royal Oak which is notoriously showcasing various surface treatments, bevels and sharp lines.

The dial clearly has a unique flair, displaying a deep blue tapisserie background, reminiscent of the blue oceanic tones. It features a host of welcome yellow touches making this one of the most vibrant Royal Oak references on the wrist to date. This seldom seen reference exhibits a special case back, engraved with the City of Sails script and a mention of the 300 piece count for the limited edition.
