Rolex introduced the latest generation of the Explorer II range in 2011, replacing the discontinued reference 16550. The timepiece bears the new maxi-case design with stronger lugs and a wider 42mm diameter. The dial offers optimal legibility with large hands and indexes, glowing in blue thanks to the Chromalight luminescent material.
The timepiece is powered by the caliber 3187, allowing for dual-time display.
