Crowned to be the most complicated watch that Heuer ever produced, the present watch, reference 2547S not only features a chronograph movement but is further highlighted with a rare triple calendar that is displayed in German. Unlike other examples of the same reference which have been spotted with a loud contrasting coloured dial, the present watch is fitted with a soothing silvered dial that is further enhanced by the step chapter ring. While the layout of a watch generally focuses our sight towards the center when reading time, the sophisticated blue crescent hand guides us to view the week of the year with ease. Inordinately charming, the present watch often reminds one the humble beauty of a fine vintage tool watch.
