Introduced in 1991, the present Reference 47100 chronograph has a limited production of less than 100 pieces, offered in either yellow gold or platinum. Vacheron Constantin's brilliant watchmaking skills are displayed through the skeletonized components, showcasing an openwork dial with hand engraved bridges. The sapphire crystal display back reveals its meticulous chronograph function, a simple press on the pusher activates the chronograph with a satisfying click, engaging its gears with the main spring, producing an interaction which is an absolute pleasure to observe.
