ROLEX | DAY-DATE, REF 18238 YELLOW GOLD WRISTWATCH WITH DAY DATE AND BRACELET CIRCA 1991

The Day-Date is arguably one of Rolex's coolest models, and worn indisputably by some of the coolest figures in history. This example is a slightly more contemporary iteration; the reference 18238, and with its X serial it can be dated to around 1991. Aesthetically not much has changed since the model was introduced in 1956, testament to its timeless character, though this particular timepiece has an outer minute track accented by Roman numerals offering it a somewhat more modern appearance.

The watch is in very good overall condition with the original brushed and polished finishes prominent and the bezel very pleasingly playing with the light when on the wrist. The edges are sharp, the bracelet is taut and what's more it is accompanied by its presentation case and COSC certificate.
