This attractive Nautilus reference 3800 is equipped with a rare ‘telephone’ dial, named because the white Arabic numerals on the slate-gray flat surface are reminiscent of a rotary dial used on old telephones. While the Nautilus family was released with different dial variations such as white, black-blue and stone-set ones, the present ‘telephone’ dial is likely the rarest variant of them all. Produced in 1992, the watch is offered with its presentation case and an Extract from the Archives that confirms the slate-grey dial with white Arabic numerals.
