The 'Zeitwerk' model is the first A. Lange & Söhne mechanical wristwatch to feature a digital numeral display. The time is displayed using three disks: one for the hour and two for the minutes. It took A. Lange & Söhne more than two years to develop a mechanism to make the disks jump rather than turn slowly, as typical date displays do. The very symmetrical appearance of the dial makes the design strict but straightforward. Horizontally, it shows the digital time bridge and vertically, the analog power reserve and constant seconds.

Sotheby's is excited to offer this 'Zeitwerk' model complete with Certificate of Origin and presentation case.
