The Patek Philippe Neptune reference 5085 was produced between 1998 and 2005. This watch was initially released in stainless steel with a bracelet before Patek Philippe launched its yellow gold counterpart in very limited quantities. The micro rotor cal. 240 and the asymmetrical dial layout with a power reserve indication, moon phases and date was passed on to the Nautilus 5712, released in 2006. The present stainless steel example is fitted with its unique retro-looking bracelet and would make an attractive addition to any Patek Philippe collection.
